Title: solved: libavcodec56 replaces libavcodec55 (no transition)
Post by: musca on 2015/03/11, 21:25:31
hello siducers,

libavcodec56 has replaced libavcodec55 in the debian repo, but there are still some packages that depend on the 55.
So if you don't have libavcodec55 already installed (e.g. on fresh installs), you might see some breakage.

Just in case you feel the desire: http://snapshot.debian.org/binary/libavcodec55/ (http://snapshot.debian.org/binary/libavcodec55/)
(beware, pick the package for your architecture, either i386 or amd64)

greetings
musca

it is all ok now - we had some old and crufty packages in our repo (the experimental part)
