Ok, you can't code, but you still might be able to write a bug report for Debian's sake

at some point in time i came to the conclusion that i need flash to be updated on regular basis, without my personal intervention.

after searching the web, i found this solution:

create the file /etc/cron.daily/flash and make it executable
add the following contents:

Code: [Select]
test -x /usr/sbin/update-flashplugin-nonfree && /usr/sbin/update-flashplugin-nonfree --install --quiet

Are there more than me that have (intermittent) problems with flash in Iceweasel after latest flash-update?

flash is per se a long lasting problem. And as long as you don't give us more specific info about why and how your problem is only *intermittent* we consider your problem *not solvable*.

I see no problem with youtube videos, cnn.com, intellicast.com, etc.  No problem in iceweasel, also no problem in chromium-browser.  Possibly the problem is with some specific site(s)?

Code: [Select]
root@imerabox:/# apt-cache policy flashplugin-nonfree iceweasel chromium-browser

For example this http://www.airasia.com/ot/en/where-we-fly/route-map.page? is not working for me, the map will only flicker och blink or whatever it is called, sometimes I can see the map but it doesn't work as it shall when I click on the map. XFCE, 64 bit

I suffer since the last flashupdate from really frequent iceweasel-freezes!
Only closing iceweasel helps!

fluxbox (xfce install), 32 bit.

No technical problems apart from the fact that it took near to a minute to load.

In iceweasel
Code: [Select]
about:config
type in the search bar
Code: [Select]
plugins.click_to_playdoubleclick on the setting to toggle it to "false"

If false is already set, leave it, it is not ready for prime-time yet to set it to true, although you may "experiment" with it ;)
