Boot: fsck.ntfs-3g is missing
« on: 2014/06/15, 11:47:47 »
I added in the fstab a mount point for a window partiton like this
UUID=....     /win.data    ntfs-3g   defaults    1    2
During the boot process I see a message of missing a fsck.ntfs-3g command for a short time. Writing operations are allowed after the boot (how I wanted it). Can I suppress the filesystem check of ntfs partitions during the boot process?

"0 0" is the answer of you last question. Perhaps ntfs doesn't support the dump option, you could check the filesystem without using "0 2" instead of "1 2"

Thanks, it works fine and without any message using " 0   0".

0 0 ever work fine, because this means: no checks :)
