watch out - siduction kernels to be removed

Is this 64 bit?

Because here on 32 bit the only problem is pdl (perl transition not completed). No kernel removed.
Ok, you can't code, but you still might be able to write a bug report for Debian's sake

Abort.

It is the linux-headers packages, not the kernel images.  But the headers are needed to build kernel-modules or software packages.

32-bit system does not have this issue.

This did not occur on my system (amd64). I d-u'ed and I still have linux-headers-3.10-10.towo-siduction-amd64.

My du had 15 packages held, but I'm still using 3.10.10.towo-siduction-amd64 as well.

25 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.

The headers are not removed here.
This is an amd64 system (already dist-upgraded to  KDE 4.11.1).
No multiarch.

I'm thinking this only affects 64-bit users with i386 multiarch enabled.
The headers depend on gcc-4.8, which is being held back because version 4.8.1-10 of the gcc-4.8-base:i386 multiarch package isn't available yet (it usually lags behind a day or so, at least with the mirrors I use).

It should be safe to let the linux-headers go and reinstall them, as far as we know, this only affects multiarch users, if this happens to non-multiarch users, please post ;)
