[EN] [Solved] Kernel Panic with 4.2.4 towo-siduction-amd64
« on: 2015/10/25, 02:25:02 »
To make a long story short, I broke my system this morning and opted to reinstall. I installed a fresh copy of Indian Summer and then upgraded with kdenext enabled. I was running 4.2.4 this morning before I lost my mind so the kernel has run on this machine.

When I boot with 4.2.4 I get a kernel panic. Last messages are Not sync in VFS
Unable to mount root fs on unknown block

I can select the 3.17-4.towo-siduction-amd64 kernel installed with Indian Summer and boot to a DE.

Any help would be appreciated. I can provide info/logs as necessary of course.

Thanks, pjnsmb

Perversely, that was the beginning of my problem this morning. Fixed it this time though.
