[EN] [Solved] Tor-Browser
« on: 2019/11/11, 05:40:13 »
Hi folks since a recent update Torbrowser fails to launch.
All I get is the 'establishing a connection' dialogue box, but it is blacked out.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Since you give no version information, this is guesswork at best: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=942901

My apologies for not including the version information Devil.

Code: [Select]
apt list torbrowser-launcher
Listing... Done
torbrowser-launcher/unstable,now 0.3.2-2 amd64 [installed]
torbrowser-launcher/unstable 0.3.2-2 i386

The link you provided for the listed bug on Debian was helpful.
Thank you.

If you upgraded tor browser inside of tor "online" might be the problem as that happened to me. Some miss match issue between that in tor upgrade a the repository version.  Too correct it I ended up removing the .deb version and reinstalling their tar version from their web site and have not had any further problems.  :)
