Something up with libreoffice update
« on: 2019/01/23, 17:52:26 »
A du comes up with :
Code: [Select]
The following packages have been kept back:
   libreoffice-base (1:6.1.4-4 => 1:6.1.5~rc1-1)
   libreoffice-math (1:6.1.4-4 => 1:6.1.5~rc1-1)
   libreoffice-report-builder-bin (1:6.1.4-4 => 1:6.1.5~rc1-1)
but apt-cache policy libreoffice-core says:
Code: [Select]
libreoffice-core:
  Installed: 1:6.1.4-4
  Candidate: 1:6.1.5~rc1-1
But it isn't showing as installable or kept back in du -dV. Same for a lot of other libreoffice programmes other than uno-libs3 and ure which are installable.
I notice libreoffice-common is still at 1:6.1.4-4. Is this causing the problem?

Free speech isn't just fucking saying what you want to say, it's also hearing what you don't want to fucking hear

I either give too many fucks or no fucks at all, it's like I cannot find a middle ground for a moderate fuck distribution, it's like what the fuck

Thanks. I guess it'll all come out in the wash. I couldn't understand why available packages were neither installable or showing as kept back.

Yeah, it's a reason why we can't build iso's on the build server right now, but can be built locally.

The main reason right now is libreoffice-style-breeze, hopefully a day or 2 ;) or you can opt to purge libreoffice period, for some that is not an option.
