Hello Siduction folks. New guy here. Recently installed Firestarter RazorQt then added LXDE with slim. Seems OK but I have several questions.
Manual says: dist-upgrade - The Steps
Log out of KDE. (for me razor or lxde)
Go to Textmode by doing Ctrl+Alt+F1
logon as root,
and then type:
init 3
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
apt-get clean
init 5 && exit
My question is how to get back to the login screen? Startx will get me to default DE? I want to select a different one. I would think I need to restart slim somehow? Also want to know how to change the default DE with slim.
