[EN] how do I install new firmware on Dell XPS13 9333

I bought a Dell XPS Notebook, and it works fine except for the Touchpad. It works with Ubuntu 12.4 and seems to be supportet from Kernel > 3.16

I suppose my Firmware is to old (A05), A07 is the actual one.

The firmware comes as exe file, and it seems to install automatically in Windows 8 and ubuntu  12.4.

Does anybody have an XPS or a similar notebook and knows about the problem? Is there a way to install from the bios? Just writing the exe file to a fat stick doesn't work (found that tip on the net).
