Title: wait with current d-u, murky package removal
Post by: michaa7 on 2014/07/31, 23:56:43
I don't know what's going on here on 64 bit. But when kernel headers (and other packages) get removed, new compiler versions are kept back but an older compiler version get updated something seems not consistent.

So we should wait until the repos are updated with all needed packages or someone more experienced explains the situation.

As always, wait until the corresponding 32-bit packages of gcc are available. 32-bit always lags a bit behind for gcc, and it causes headers removed (amongst other issues).

ahhh, the multiarch, 32 bit on 64 bit problem, I should have recalled this. Thanks for the reminder.
