Title: (solved) * Warning * Thunderbird Nightly
Post by: piper on 2013/04/07, 18:37:04
If anyone is running nightly (thunderbird) don't upgrade it at the moment.
Code: [Select]
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:23.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/23.0a1 ID:20130407030955
is broke.

The last good version was 22.0a1

I will revise this thread when it is working again

@piper, do you follow the hacks of some random guys?
I think it has seizes to live any further than thunderbird-17.x

Regarding email there is a new project of the makers of shotwell  underway ...

Well, I don't think mozillazine is some random guys hacking ;)

thunderbird nightly builds forums (http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=29)

thunderbird nightly downloads (http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/)

I run both firefox & thunderbird nightly builds

@piper, is it that the Mozilla Foundation stoped sponsoring but the community of developers goes on?

That might be the case, I am not 100% sure

I do enjoy the nightly builds, if something breaks, it is *usually*
fixed in a timely manner *usually* under 24 hours, on the other hand, I really have not had any breakage besides tab mix plus (firefox) messing things up for a few hours, but that is an easy fix when it does happen.
