Title: Problem mit pipewire?

Hallo,
ich verwende das aktuelle gnome und als ich am 4. November ein übliches du machte, dann ging am nächsten Tag nach dem Neustart kein Ton mehr!
Erst als ich die ältere Version aus testing (Version 0.3.12) installierte klappte es wieder mit dem Ton.
Aufgrund der Abhängigkeiten der einzelnen Pakete kann ich das Problem nicht auf ein einziges Paket eingrenzen. Der Fehler müsste in einem dieser Pakete liegen:
gstreamer1.0-pipewire   libpipewire-0.3-0    libpipewire-0.3-modules
  libspa-0.2-modules    pipewire    pipewire-bin

Ich weis das es hier nicht so viele gnome Nutzer gibt, aber hat zufällig jemand von Euch auch das Problem?Derzeit habe ich diese Pakete auf hold gesetzt.

I had no sound and spent all afternoon thinking it was pulseaudio. I use pulseaudio over my network to have both my computers use the same speakers, so I thought it was pulseaudio. I tried all kinds of installation, removals and configurations.  I finally found it was pipewire. I now happily have it uninstalled.

Indeed pipewire was the culprit. There is a new version (0.3.15-1) that fixes the issue. More information on pipewire and why we want/need it in the future: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PipeWire

Pipewire is pretty interesting as it expands the concept of PulseAudio to video streams as well so multiple video AND audio sources can be handled easily. Think of PW as PulseVideo :-)
