[DE] Probleme beim booten

Hallo,

seit einiger Zeit, ich kann es leider nicht mehr an irgend einem d-u festmachen, bekomme ich beim booten folgende Meldung und der Rechner bleibt dann gelegentlich hängen. Reset erforderlich, manchmal mehrfach.
Ich bin leider auch nicht sicher ob diese Meldungen tatsächlich im Zusammenhang mit dem hängen bleiben stehen, da sie auch im log auftauchen wenn ich normal booten kann.

Gestern hatte ich ein BIOS-update gemacht, keine Änderung.

ACPI im Bios mal deaktiviert? Mal geguckt ob Du da etwas einstellen kannst?
Wenn Windows die Lösung ist...
kann ich dann bitte das Problem zurück haben?

Hast du noch ältere Kernel (3.0 - 3.3)? Falls ja, teste mal bitte und checke die Logs.

Hallo,

@geier0815: Hab bis jetzt noch keine Einstellungen im BIOS entdeckt die das ändern. acpi=off/force usw. wollte ich erst nach der Rückfrage hier -falls ergebnislos- testen weil ich mir über die Auswirkungen nicht auch nur annähernd klar bin.

@devil: yupp, hab noch ein paar 3.1er in einem alten Rettungssystem entdeckt und den

3.1-2.towo.2-siduction-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Nov 22 11:27:17 UTC 2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux per dpkg und apt-get -f install installiert. Mehrere reboots (>10) problemlos.

cat /proc/ioports | grep -i it87 bringt weder beim alten noch beim neuen System ein Ergebnis.

Messages zeigt die verdächtigen Warnungen mit dem 3.1-2 nicht mehr.

Ich _glaube_ ja nicht dass, wie in dem bugreport erwähnt, das Xorg.0.log hier von Interesse sein könnte, das steigt ja erst viel später im Prozess ein, kanns aber natürlich gerne nachliefern, falls erforderlich. Aber in dem Report auf den in dem von Dir verlinkten verwiesen wird:

Ich schau mal ob ich die 2.4.34... in experimental finde und teste mal, falls ja, auch wenn ich das eigentlich so verstehe daß dort irgendwas von der Ivy Bridge gefehlt hatte und auch -bei mir- die "Umschaltung" des framebuffer  oder KMS oder was auch immer (Änderung der Schriftart, kurzes Aussetzen) zum Zeitpunkt des Fehlers noch nicht stattgefunden hat. Es wäre aber ziemlich bald danach fällig.

Ja, das wäre schön... und nachdem ich keine neuere Version der libdrm2/-intel1 in experimental gefunden habe wohl auch die letzte Hoffnung da ohne wildes experimentieren weiter zu kommen.

Das leidige Problem mit diesen Messages ist, daß sie in einer Kernel-Version da sind, in der nächsten wieder nicht.

Ich versuche mal noch ein paar Infos zusammen zu kratzen die das System näher beschreiben.

4 Festplatten, 2x SSD a 60GB, 2x 1TB HD.

Die eine SSD (Vertex3) ist mit GPT versehen, nach devils Anleitung und hält das aktuelle Siduction als mein Hauptsystem am SATA3-Port(/root,/home,/data,/swap). /var ist ausgelagert auf eine der normalen HDs.

Die zweite, eine Agility2 muß momentan mit einem winXP klarkommen. (SATA3)

Die beiden TB Platten tragen auf der jeweils 2.Hälfte meine gesicherten Daten auf einem Softwaremirror (mdadm). (SATA2)

Netzwerk über WLAN, Atheros AR5418 Wireless Network Adapter [AR5008E 802.11(a)bgn] (PCI-Express) driver: ath9k bus-ID: 03:00.0

Das MB erlaubt einen Turbomodus den ich aber nicht brauche und normalerweise auch nicht benutze. Das RAM und die CPU sind für den Turbomodus ausgelegt.

Laufzeit zwischen 5 und 13 h/Tag, hat anscheinend keinen Einfluss auf die Häufigkeit des Auftretens des Hängers.

hmm...

Das scheint irgendwie mit dem SATA-Controller zusammen zu hängen.

Die Hänger treten sehr häufig auf wenn ich den im BIOS auf IDE eingestellt habe (bei ca zwei Drittel der reboots), aber relativ selten wenn der auf AHCI-Modus steht (max einer von zehn).

Blöderweise brauch ich den IDE-Modus im Moment noch für ein WinXP bis ich ein Projekt für meine Arbeit über die Bühne hab.
Komischerweise treten beim XP keine Boot-Probleme auf...

Das XP schon, hatte eins in einer Virtualbox am Laufen, aber ich hatte da Probleme mit der Verarbeitung des PAL-Signal eines Grabbers -oder das überhaupt rein zu bekommen, weiß nicht mehr was es genau war.

Sowas Hardware Nahes - und dann noch veraltete Technik - würde ich allerdings auch nicht in einer Virtuellen Box machen.
