Hi dibl,
Thanks for another push
Because as I couldn't find anything on OCZ or google about the used storage-controller -I guessed it nescesary, because they use two sandforce controllers too- of the device you mentionend I was digging more deeper again.
And maybe there's hope for the revo-drive 3 also:
http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?95151-Linux-patch-support-for-RevoDrive3-RevoDrive3-X2-zDrive-R4This seems to be -as far as I understood, I've still my difficulties with english- a simple patch which includes just the drive specific identifiers to an existing kernel modul.
Also I guess to have read
that they are working around this (Marvel?) SuperScale-Controller by using mdraid.
But I think I have to read this thread a few times more when I really have the time. If it still sounds promising then, I will try out. Getting a little curious/ambitious now.
Hallo dibl,
