Open-source governance model

I imagine the project could be divided into three tiers.

Tier 1
    The kernel and kernel modules

Tier 2
    Installer
    Official and custom scripts/packages
    Meta packages
    Desktop spins
    More...

Tier 3
    The manual
    Websites
    Translations
    Artwork
    More...

In addition to this, there would also be a public wiki.

All the projects in tier 3 could be placed on a public git server like github.
Some of the projects in tier 2 could also be placed on a public git server like github.

Each public project has a team with commit access doing the quality controls, but anyone can do pull requests.
The wiki would be a natural place to describe how to do pull requests to a public project.

What say you?

Looking good indeed.

It would be nice to get some web sites and documentation around these things though, making it more accessible to non-technical users. I didn't even know there was a public server!

btw, you are supposed to say

I still think there should be a link in the menu on the left side showing a structure of siduction.org website with its points of interest.
Ok, you can't code, but you still might be able to write a bug report for Debian's sake

Just two clicks away, but only when you know where to look for it :-)  From menu click Development, which opens the dev project chili.siduction.org. On the main page there you find link to Map of siduction

Cool as ever.
I again have the feeling that map remains hidden beyond any rational grounds.

Conservative and low profile communication can be a good idea (kind of like what debian has), but a open and user friendly portal is also important. Specially if we need to attract different kinds of people, like artists and translators for example.
