(solved) How do I delete my KDE-desktop?
« on: 2014/01/16, 13:13:03 »
I hace since my installation of siduction 12.2.0 Riders on the Storm long time ago on one of my two monitors a really wiered desktop (see Pic).
Icons show only on the left, and I couldn't add plasmoids. It was still manageable, and I didn't care, since on my second Monitor everything was behaving normally.

Since my homepartion ran full yesterday, KDE deleted some stuff on my desktops and some not. Now I don't have even a K-Button... Arrrrgh...
So, I remeber on KDE3 it was possible to delete one folder and to start with a fresh desktop (please don't suggest to delete the entire ~/.kde).

Is that still possible?

If that doesn't work, you can delete ~/.kde/share/config and get a clean default desktop (after you log out and log back in).

Dibls solution was what I was looking for.
Worked perfectly.
Thanks to you both!
