extra slash in playonlinux?
« on: 2014/05/14, 01:17:45 »
Trying to install some entertainment via playonlinux and getting an error that it can't find wine. I've confirmed it's installed and the path is identical except there's an extra slash:

Code: [Select]
/usr/share/playonlinux/lib/wine.lib: line 534: /home/viniosity/.PlayOnLinux//wine/linux-x86/1.7.18/bin/wine: No such file or directory
[POL_Wine] Error: Wine seems to have crashed

[edit] Ok, the extra slash is annoying but trying to execute wine without it still gives the same error. Turns out to get past this I had to sudo apt-get install --reinstall libc6-i386

Now I'm getting an error that says:

Wine cannot find the FreeType font library.  To enable Wine to
use TrueType fonts please install a version of FreeType greater than
or equal to 2.0.5.
