Just did a d-u, on one of  my XFCE computers, that not removed network-manager, so maybe this is solved now but be aware, I just tell it's working for me now.

Here also all OK now. DU done without removal of any networkmanager components!
Seems to be solved now

@terroreek, just performed D-U without any issues reference gnome-themes as new themes are installed and at the end of my system update the gnome-themes-standard was set up.

I can confirm, some days ago nm removed and config inside /etc/network/interfaces gone.

A simple run of ceni solved the problem without even editing the file :)

Does ceni work with Fedora too ? No-network-after-wakeup has arrived there.  :o

CENI was written for Sidux, our predecessor. All it does is to configure /etc/network/interfaces, which can easily be done by hand. And again, that does not work together with NM.
