Invalid path for logical volume

Near the beginning of boot messages I see "Invalid path for logical volume" with the UUID of / partition. I don't use LVM so is it safe to remove lvm2 package? Is there another way preferable to avoid getting this message?

It's safe, if you don't use raid, you can purge mdadm also

Thank you. I'm interested to try LVM but my storage needs are modest so it is low priority.
