Here is a list of the largest, unsolved mysteries of my system:
1) The back microphone jack on my computer (on my motherboard) does not work
It used to work, but then a couple apt full-upgrades later it didn't. It was the very first thing to break on my system
2) the ALSA sound library has issues and some programs that use it refuse to enable sound, notably Kega Fusion
3) Some flash drives that work fine in windows will have issues transferring files on Siduction. Only NTFS and Fat32 flash drives have been tested
4) My Windows hard disk is no longer editable on siduction, I can't make new files or directories

David, if you want to get help, you should do it differently. For each issue start a separate thread with useful information!
Whether or not you can write on NTFS partitions from Linux might not interest anyone here. However, it is well known that Fastboot must be disabled in UEFI and Windows 8+.
- hit [super]
- execute cmd as administrator
- execute "powercfg /h off"
- shutdown or reboot
Otherwise Linux mounts these partitions read-only to protect the Windows system.

I already have fastboot disabled
I used to be able to edit it, but now for some reason I cant
After I boot into windows, it always comes back
-
I already have fastboot disabled
In UEFI and Windows.
Windows upgrades could reset it. Also check the UEFI for not reactivating it!

You (geklmintendont) were told
Since noone else has that problem, the probability of kega fusion being the culprit, is high.
This package is also not in debian so the cu;prit is even higher
-
kega fusion isn't registered to dpkg and doesn't have any files outside my home folder
I run it straight out of a folder
so no, it's impossible for it to be kega fusion

Once again we hear your whining about things not working the way YOU think they should but NO concrete information in order to assist you resolve any of the issues you raise. When a forum member tries to help, you already know the answer then in that respect why did you ask in the first place? :(
