Title: Could not find the program ‘konsole’
Post by: orinoco on 2020/05/30, 09:56:45
Hello,

it seems to me that I run into this problem after last kde/plama update:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421374 (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421374)

I can't start console programs from menu or Alt+F2 like mc or htop etc. It's not a showstopper, but a little bit annoying the start konsole first and than the command manually.

The issue is fixed in upstream. I hope the fix will appear in the repos as soon as possible.

Fixed upstream of where? You on sid, the only other thing would be experimental.
With Xfce4 I can select Htop from the menu and it opens in a terminal.

Hello,

in this case upstream is the KDE project: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421374#c16 (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421374#c16)

As I wrote "last kde/plasma update" xfce might not be affected.

Either way it would still need to filter down through the Debian package builders. It will just take a bit of time.
