[DE] GRUB falsch installiert?

Hallo,
ich habe siduction in eine leere Partition installiert.
Beim Installer stand, dass man bei mehreren HDDs , die entspreche auswaehlen soll.
Ich meine, dass ich das gemacht habe.

Jetzt kann ich aber gar nichts mehr starten. Was soll ich jetzt tun. Von live-CD "update-grub" aufrufen?

Ich schicke gleich voraus, wenn hier die EFI den "Hut" auf hat, da bin ich 'raus. Mit der kann und will ich nix zu tun haben!  :P


Angenommen, sdb11 ist jetzt dein Hauptsystem und sein Grub ist im MBR von sdb, dann wirst du dort 'rein chrooten müssen

grub-mkdevicemap
und anschließend
update-grub
ausführen.


Von der live-cd kannst du auch das Handbuch zu siduction - Inhalt - Bereich ganz unten zu Grub2 ansehen.
Grundsätzlich gib es viele Wege "nach Rom". Vielleicht hat hier einer eine einfachere Lösung.


Was mich aber bei deiner Konfiguration massiv stört, sind die mehreren Boot-Flags. Welche Platte die schnellere ist bekommt also vom Bios das Geschehen übertragen...  und, sdb ist nicht dabei.  :-\

es sind teilweise aus anderen PCs ausgebaute HDDs, wo die OS im Grunde nicht weiter benutzt werden, sondern die anderen freien Partitionen als Datenlager genutzt werden. Ich bin noch nicht dazu gekommen und komme auch zumindest in der naeheren zukunft nicht dazu, das mal zu sortieren.

sda ist mein bisheriges Hauptsystem
sda ist eine SSD und auf sda1 sollte mein Hauptsystem eigentlich bleiben. Weil  KDE dort auf sda1 im Moment nicht richtig laeuft, wollte ich temporaer auf sdb11 mal cinnamon installieren.

sdc ist eine sehr langsame und alte Notebook Platte, die vermutlich niemals schneller als irgendwer/was sein wird. das boot flag dort habe ich dennoch entfernt.

sdf ist der Stick (live-cd)

sdb hat insgesamt  6TB. also ist da gar kein mbr mehr, sondern gpt?



Jedenfalls bin ich nach wie vor verwirrt.

Wenn ich jetzt von live-CD einfach nochmal auf sdb11 installiere und dieses mal es bei der Voreinstellung "GRUB im Masterboot-Sector" belasse.
Ist dann alles OK?

Nee, dann kommst'e wieder zu der jetzigen Situation.




Die Installation dieses Bootloader von sdb11 (wenn du die Installation nochmal durchführst), kann man doch auch weglassen.

Ich würde in sda1 dann chrooten und da die Befehle oben bzw. [size=78%]update-grub [/size][size=78%]ausführen.[/size]

Edit: Manchmal kotzt mich die Forensoftware und der qupzilla hier an...   >:(

mein altes system startete, aber nur bis zu einem bestimmmten Punkt.
im IRC hat mir agaida geraten, in /etc/fstab alles, bis auf das nötigste auzukommentieren, was ich getan habe. jetzt startet mein altes system auf /dev/sda7 wieder und nach update-grub auch das neue auf /dev/sdb11.

Später werde ich die schuldige Partition finden und überhaupt mal aufräumen.

Da sieht man wieder, agaida weiß eben mehr, als wir alle zusammen.  ;)
Außerdem hatte ich sda7 mit sda1 verwechselt.
