Rather sketchy advice, i am afraid!

On adobe sh*t always look for the verbose output to quickly look for errors.

While the '--install' option does suggest success, the '--verbose' trigger unhides the failed download because of the poorly maintained
debian package. It usually takes a couple of days for the download link to be adjusted.

If you need a quicker solution, you need to go to adobe's page, download, extract and copy the content of their archive to the appropriate places.

Good to know this. I was confused because there was no wget output but I thought it was send to /dev/null by the script. And again: Never trust anything or anybody.

The newest one is 19.0.0.226. The pepper Plugin is late :D .

I just use it with freshplayer-plugin in iceweasel!
