Just installed siduction successfully on a chromebook (acer chromebook 14 CB3-431-C5FM) with this method:

After numerous attempts at this with various distros, I discovered that trying to install linux on a chromebook is a waste of time. So, I've decided to buy a ‘real’ laptop that supports linux and I would like to know of any recommendations (laptop make/model) that anyone knows of, or has already installed siduction linux successfully on to, please let me know.
BTW . . hey towo, in your photo, you look like that guitar player in Rammstein . . is that you?

HP makes good laptops -- I have installed and run siduction on a couple of models.
System76 Oryx Pro, Intel Core i7-11800H, SSD 970 EVO Plus;  Asus ROG STRIX X299-E, Core i7-7740X, Nvidia GTX-1060, dual monitors, SSD 860 EVO
