[EN] disk check on ssd
« on: 2015/11/09, 20:46:52 »
Hi all,

as I experienced yesterday on shutdown a stall during shutdown and error messages (referring to the home part sda2), I want to test my ssd.
Is smartctl also good for ssd disks? Or do Ihave to use an other test tool?

smartctl will work for your ssd.

Code: [Select]
root@debian-8-box:/# smartctl -i /dev/sda
smartctl 6.4 2014-10-07 r4002 [x86_64-linux-3.16.0-4-amd64] (local build)
