It will not resolve itself. For me the solution was, after diffing what gets removed and what gets reinstalled, to go through with it. But I am not a KDE-Pim user, so I did not really care.
But afterwards I was able to reinstall all the missing stuff. First I reinstalled kde-standard, then akregator, which was enough to bring everything back.
