A Tartie without an Avatar?  May not be the real Tartie.

I won't vote!

To make it clear, I absolutely have no problem if the siduction team alone decides for a new release name. But why do you ask for a new method
http://forum.siduction.org/index.php?topic=2655
for finding release names? Only to let the discussion die out? And only to then preselect five random titles?
You shouldn't have asked at all.

Ok, you can't code, but you still might be able to write a bug report for Debian's sake

michaa7, as far as I understood the reason for asking in the above mentioned thread was because the name-finding mechanism was a bit unsorted and confusing before. As a result of the discussion in forum and  perhaps core-meetings (so far not published, think that will come), the new method seems something like:

* Core-team and Art-team collect suggestions in the wiki, only 2-3 suggestions per teammember allowed
* Mainly Art-team kicks out the ones which are difficult to visualize
* The rest is given here to all of us, so community can vote

Of course, this should have been announced in the first post of this voting thread (or in the blog before the voting started).

BTW, my vote is Walk This Way, not because of the music but because of the logic, it fits after "One Step Beyond" :-)

Sorry, if our handling of this matter was not transparent enough. blame me, I have very little time at the moment. der_bud is right in what he states above on how the dice roll this time.

Although 'Firestarter' sounds good as a distro name, for me it feels somehow too close to Kanos Dragonfire and Hellfire. (If that is not purpose :-) )

Riders in  front nearly from the first day, so hurry up everybody else and vote!

Difficult. I like "Riders on the Storm" (though it's a little bit long), but a release in the middle of a freeze absolutely is not storm riding - that would be more fitting for a release in "wilder" times. But - I like it...

On the other hand... "siduction Firestarter" sounds absolutely cool ;)... but I don't like the song at all...

I need 5 minutes more...
