Ich habe das wegen des gleichzeitigen Trubels mit dieser t64 transition ruhen lassen aber eben nochmals probiert. Was immer mit dem maintainer besprochen wurde, im Browser sind die Repos erreichbar, per apt *nicht*.

Mine is a personal desktop setup and so not as mission critical.
 I usually upgrade every 2 months (after a complete backup)
             - longer when things are crazy such as new Debian or new KDE [ or new malware  ].
Indeed updates are huge; but for the past 18 years Apt has handled them gracefully.

Your installations is already stale. The upgrade will be huge. I would do a complete back up then proceed. You really should be upgrading at least once or twice a week. Things can move fast in sid.

To upgrade or not to upgrade - that is the question!

I haven't performed a distribution-upgrade since last December and so I still have xz-utils 5.4.5-0.3 installed.
Am I better off  delaying performing a distribution-upgrade or is it more risky having my siduction installation becoming too stale?

apt update, apt upgrade, reboot, apt full-upgrade all worked without any problems!

Also, ich habe heute spasseshalber in einer VM das September-Iso (KDE/Plasma) installiert und nach dem Booten sofort ein apt update && apt full-upgrade durchgeführt. Keine Probleme

gut zu hören. Ich habe bei einem Freund Mitte/Ende 2023 (kann leider nicht genau sagen wann) Siduction installiert und als das Problem bekannt wurde haben wir aufgehört Updates zu installieren. Ich werde heute Abend die Updates installieren. Hoffe es klappt.

So, just for fun, I installed the September ISO (KDE/Plasma) in a VM today and immediately did an apt update && apt full-upgrade after booting. No issues.

Good to hear. I installed Siduction for a friend around mid/late 2023 (can't say exactly when), and when the problem became known, we stopped installing updates. I'll try installing the updates tonight. Hopefully it works.

Antwort steht ja da: Interner Fehler. Dummerweise ist das gefühlt die Universalfehlermeldung von Inkscape.
Wenn du in den Logfiles etc. nichts auffälliges findest, wird es so erstmal schwierig. Ich habe selbst unter aktuellem KDE/Plasma weder unter X11 noch unter Wayland Probleme, Inkscape als user zu starten.
Versuche doch zunächst folgenden Weg: Inkscape purgen, dann das AppImage von https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-1.3.2/ laden. Gleicher Fehler? Es bleibt ja noch der harte Weg, Inkscape aus den Quellen zu compilieren und installieren.
Unsere Systeme unterscheiden sich halt ein wenig in der Hardware und irgendwo zwischen BIOS, Firmware und Treibern liegt wohl das Geheimnis des internen Fehlers begraben.
