Is it a good idea to let go

libxvmcnvidia1 nvidia-settings with current d-u?

Ok, you can't code, but you still might be able to write a bug report for Debian's sake

Thanks towo, but I don't understand. Here *is* installed nvidia 304.108 (see above).

My question is about libxvmcnvidia1 which would be removed with d-u at this time.

Edit://
Ok, got it. 304 was renamed to legacy-304 creating a little mess.

Thanks towo.

Thanks devil, towo for help in IRC and the driver built:

After the 32 bit version was uploaded to the siduction fixes repo I could update to the legacy-304 driver. libxvmcnvidia1 was installable, nvidia-settings (depending on nvidia-alternatives) was not.
