Hello,
In june I couldn't install Siduction on a Ryzen + Vega box. I thus installed the Suse rolling distro.
I have just read that now Siduction should run fine on this hardware.
https://forum.siduction.org/index.php?topic=7198.msg59154#msg59154 (https://forum.siduction.org/index.php?topic=7198.msg59154#msg59154)
The iso image for Siduction has not changed. There should be a way for me to update a Siduction system and create a new iso image to install.
Is this process detailed somewhere (a search for "update image" was unsuccessful).
Thanks in advance

open IRC, join #siduction, ask for a current build - wait for some minutes :P

Thanks for your answer.
This seems to good to be true!

Thats how we work - and everybody wins. You would get a current image with all the new software (and new bugs), we get a tester for all the new things ... And yes, i just did the same for me: Get a new machine, hit the build button and put the new image on the stick. (Ok, in my case that is our insane development image, but who really cares 8))

How long will the new image available ?
I have a very slow internet connexion at home. I can IRC but not really download.
At work, I can download fairly fast but IRC is not possible.
So I would need to get a download link that stands for about 24 h.

a few month - new images become obsolete when new images are built - so i clean up from time to time

Nice!
I am on IRC right now, but nobody. I apologize if my total noob status in IRC makes me write stupid things.

if you are alone you are in the wrong channel
if connected to irc.oftc.net, a /j #siduction would be enough
-
I was probably connected at the wrong place. I will try again.

but IRC is not possible.
You could use OFTC Web IRC (https://webchat.oftc.net/?channels=siduction) with any browser over port 80.
But if siduction/a rolling release distribution is right for your slow connection ... there are many updates every day.

Thanks for the link.
I already use a rolling realease (Suse). It is ok in spite of my slow connection because I update at night when nobody uses the bandwidth.
