Moin,

in KDE 4 konnte man recht einfach "Autologin" einstellen. Das war ganz nett da ich meinen PC dann und wann via Remotevebindung neu starten muss. MIt der neuen KDE Version funktioniert einiges ( noch ) nicht und so bin ich erstmal auf XFCE umgestiegen. Wo kann ich da ein Autologin einstellen ?
Was ich bisher gelesen habe war das man das händisch in eine Datei einfügen / ändern muss. Allerdings waren die "gegoogelten" Hinweise schon sehr alt.

@henning: dat hat bei uns mit dem verwendeten DE recht wenig zu tun - das macht der DM - $(EDITOR] /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
