Hallo zusammen,
könnte man den schlanken eMail-Client (QT) trojita in das siduction Repository aufnehmen?

Ein Debianpaket gibt's wohl nicht auf der Projektseite oder habe ich da etwas übersehen?

Das soll nun keine wertung sein, aber es handelt sich dabei um einen reinen IMAP klienten, keine POP3-unterstützung.

Hi michaa7,
das ist für mich schon Grund genug trojita zu testen, da ich ausschließlich IMAP für eMAil-Konten nutze. Mir ist durchaus bewusst dieser IMAP-Client noch in Entwicklung und unfertig ist. Auf jeden Fall ein interessanter Ansatz ein leichtgewichtigen eMail-Client zu entwickeln.

Ich habe trojita schonmal vor langer Zeit getestet. Damals war es ein reiner Reader und ein "Schreibmodul" war nichtmal in Planung.

Der Reader ist heute noch eher rudimentär, bietet dafür aber eine sehr gute technische Umsetzung der RFCs. Da fehlts einfach ein bißchen an Manpower, dann kann das richtig was werden.

Ich selbst verwende auch nur IMAP, aber diese vorliebe muß ja nicht jeder teilen. Daher fand ich es richtig, die genannte einschränkung deutlich zu machen.
