Hello,
there is something that gets me nuts about how lightdm manages the position of newly opened windows: they always get attached to some screen border, even by two sides! kdm did not do this. I do not like windows attached to borders, as I cannot see items I usually place near them.
Plus, considering that my config also features active screen borders this gets particularly annoying when having to press some button within the window that gets located near the border itself and you go some pixels too far (i.e. you get to the other desktop and then back).
Is there a way to suggest lightdm not to open new windows with margins attached to screen borders?
