[EN] Meet Min
« on: 2017/06/11, 10:01:32 »
I discovered this browser in the June issue of Linux Magazine.  The configuration folder structure (~/.config/Min) seems very similar to the configuration folder structure for the Brave browser.  So far, I haven't found a way to automatically clear the list of sites visited (you'll understand when you use it).  So, for now I'm deleting everything under ~/.config/Min/[Cache] and ~/.config/Min/Local Storage.  From the main site:

Min is written entirely with CSS and JavaScript using Electron, and is open-source software, available on GitHub.

Main site:  https://minbrowser.github.io/min/

Recent and previous releases:  https://github.com/minbrowser/min/releases/

20170611-01 edit:  My tips above for clearing the addresses/links you've used don't appear to work.  I performed the above procedures and cleared the contents of some other folders today, but I'm still seeing a site address that I accessed previously.  Time to check the project wiki/forums.

I'm testing Min, but I'm not visiting any sites that I wouldn't want Mom to know about ....    ;)

Okay, I've used the browser some more in the last hour.  Here are ways to prevent browsing history or to clear same:

01) Browse in a private tab
02) Enter !clearhistory in the address/search field and then press the Return/Enter key.
