What is really weird, I just built a build of siduction with the exact repo's and apps that are installed on my main system and no errors

If you have libreoffice-4 of experimental
- you have python3-uno
-- which needs pthon3.3 of experimental

But python3-pykde4 of experimental-snapshots
- needs python3.2 of Debian unstable

Such a mess is typical in times of the little iceage of Debian.

@piper, this may be the explanation for why my desktop system has no problem with the plasma-scriptengines and python-kde4 packages, because I have LO 4.0 from experimental installed (plus whatever dependencies it pulled in).

Yes, you are not the only confused one:  http://forum.siduction.org/index.php?msg=28250#28250

But, my system is working great -- better to be confused about why it works then why it is broken!  ;-)

This is where I'm at now
Code: [Select]
piper@x1:~$ apt-get install -t wheezy python-qt4 plasma-scriptengine-python plasma-scriptengines python-kde4 system-config-printer-kde -s
NOTE: This is only a simulation!

Keep also in mind that locking is deactivated,
so don't depend on the relevance to the real current situation!

Seems like sip-api in experimental is now as of today version 9 instead of 8

Looking up at your post from the 19th, I see you have the newer version of python-qt4, from Debian experimental.  Mine is still 4.9.3-4 from unstable, and it has no dependency on the newer sip-api.
