 [Solved] Repeated kernel panics

(1/3) > >>

timc:
I have run "apt-get update" successfully, this morning, but every time I try to run "apt-get upgrade", it has a kernel panic (attempted three times). I am running the -4 kernel, possibly I have upgraded it too far.

I have been unable to find the output of the kernel panic after rebooting. If someone can tell me where it can be found (if it still exists), I will be happy to post it.

You should not run upgrade anywaysm, but only dist-upgrade. But that is most likely not your problem.

3.4-0.towo.4-siduction-amd64 is perfectly fine here.
Can you make a photo of the kernel panic?

Here is a picture of the entire screen. It may not be readable, if you need to see it in better detail, I can post two pictures I took more closely up.

Thanks,
Tim

timc:
Two closer images of the screen shot.

And you use 32 or 64bit?
Older kernels does not have this problem?
Your hardware is a secret?

To less info.
