[solved]wbar-Problem after du

After yesterdays du the follering message apears:

 Versuch, »/etc/wbar.d/wbar.cfg« zu überschreiben, welches auch in Paket wbar 2.3.4.8 ist
Fehler traten auf beim Bearbeiten von:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/wbar-theme-xfce_0.6_all.deb

apt-get -f install don't not work
apt-get remove wbar or anything else from above don't work

any other sugesstion?

System: siduction 32-bit 2012.1 desperado xfce-version, last sucessfull du three days ago.

Nach meinen gestrigen du erscheint folgende Fehlermeldung:

und das du bricht ab. Ich habe das übliche versucht:

apt-get -f install ohne Erfolg und auch
apt-get remove siduction-settings-xfce oder ähnliches in diesen Zusammenhang hilft leider auch nicht.

Hab ihr sonst noch irgendwelche Vorschläge, was ich tun könnte, damit dass du durchläuft.

Hier läuft die 32-bit Installation von siduction 2012.1 Desperado in der xfce-Version. Letztes erfolgreiches du war vor ca. 3 Tagen.

i build the wbar packages with some refined breaks and replaces again. This should solve this. If any other thing fails try to apt-get purge wbar* and install wbar-siduction* and themes. Wbar is only a meta-package to get rid of debians wbar, which don't support themes for different desktop environments.

At the moment the themes are under heavy devolopment, only the xfce and rqt theme should work.

Or delete the xfce settings and reinstall them.

I don't use xfce but I do use wbar in kde.

You might want to try

apt-get update && apt-get install wbar-config wbar-siduction-config wbar-siduction wbar wbar-theme-xfce siduction-settings-xfce see if the same error pops up
if any errors

apt-get -f install
Wouldn't hurt to try if above fails

apt-get clean && apt-get update && apt-get install --reninstall wbar-config wbar-siduction-config wbar-siduction wbar wbar-theme-xfce siduction-settings-xfce


*Note* In my simulation I used wbar-theme-kde instead of  wbar-theme-xfce for obvious reasons.

added a few missed breaks in wbar-themes-$foo. should work now. Depending on your mirror the packages will be available in the next 24h.

till then:

should work. Our themes don't like the debian wbar-package configured :D

Without any further informations i declare the problem solved. It may be that former packages leave the system in a broken state.

This is a test with a fresh live system (riders), i can't see any problems:

And please be so kind and use a paste service. siduction-paste or any other paste-service are good choices.

There was a typo in my post, but you could even start to use your brain.

dpkg --force-overwrite -i /var/cache/apt/archives/wbar-theme-xfce_0.7_all.deb && apt-get -f install
