Have the issues with kernel 4.2 that caused it to 'Fail to load kernel modules' been fixed?
I had heard it had something to do with Nvidia drivers.
I'd really like to update soon, I haven't been able to upgrade since December.

Our Kernel is at 4.20.1 for now and an experimental Kernel 5.0 can also be installed. Your post does not explain, why you cannot upgrade to one of those.

Our Kernel is at 4.20.6-2, which is technicaly 4.20.7-rc1. ;)

Interesting, I don't think we even have a 4.2.0 kernel in the repo's, oldest I seen was 4.3.0 :P
