nach langer Zeit in den ich meine Probleme bis jetzt selber lösen konnte, hab ich mal eins, wo ich nicht mehr weiter weiß.

Bei meinem Oldtimer

läuft der "nvidia-legacy-304xx"-Treiber mit den Kernel 3.12-0 und  3.12-1 von Thorsten  nicht mehr!

Mit den Kernel 3.11-6 läuft es noch.

Hat einer eine Idee, wie ich das bei neuere Kernel zum laufen bringe? Falls Ihr noch Infos braucht, ruhig sagen.

aktuelle header hast Du aber im System, die Module bauen auch?

Weil: ich bin mit meiner topaktuellen 7300 auch auf den Blob angewiesen - bisher keine Probleme

Hallo,

natürlich installiere ich immer mit linux-image auch die dazugehörige linux-headers. Bei den Bauen mit "dkms" gibt es keine Meldungen, die auf ein Fehler schließen würden. Bis zum Kernel 3.11 funktionierte das auch einwandfrei. Erst mit den 3.12er geht es nicht mehr.

hmm - sieht irgendwie nach einem 32 Bitter aus - auf amd64/multiarch läuft der Treiber perfekt. Ich werf mal nen i386 auf mein System.

Edit: DerUrsprungspost hätte diese bahnbrechende Erkenntnis auch ermöglicht - ich lern irgendwann mal lesen.

bei den 3.11-6er Kernel kommt folgendes
