Mouse not interactive after d-u
« on: 2018/06/10, 06:04:56 »
After d-u today I am unable to interact with the desktop using mouse. The cursor moves but clicking does nothing.New kernel is 4.17.0-towo.1-siduction-amd64 . It still works fine with 4.16.9-towo.1-siduction-amd64 .I've had some graphics issues with a possibly flaky graphics card both with nouveau and nvidia as posted in another thread, but never a problem with mouse before.

This mouse is an ancient one which was plugged in to PS/2 mouse socket using a USB to PS/2 adapter. I moved it to a USB port and it works again! Very strange though as the PS/2 keyboard is still working fine. This computer is about 10 years old but the mouse was used with the previous one I had so probably 15 years old. Logitech made good mouses in those days although it cost $AU99 iirc because optical mice were bleeding edge tech back then. :)
