Hallo zusammen,
muss ich warten oder kann ich einen d-u durchführen ohne das es mir die Druckerkonfiguartion zerlegt?

wenn Du keinen HP Tintenpisser benutzt, dann ab dafür - cups-filters ersetzt foomatic-filters, das hat sich aber bei dem pseudoproprietären Zeug noch nicht rumgesprochen :)

im Falle des  Falles bei debian fragen - das weiss ich nun wirklich nicht und kann es mangels Hardware nicht mehr testen. Mein ColorLaserjet hat zum Glück das Zeitliche gesegnet

Not sure what's being said above but cups-filters wants to remove hpijs-ppds here as well.

Quite strange. The d-u says it's going to remove 3.13.11-1 when it's 3.13.9-2 that I actually have installed!

I let foomatic-filters and hpijs-ppd go in a d-u on Saturday.  After another d-u on Sunday, I had to reinstall hplip-gui.  Now my HP Laserjet P1606dn is working again with no issues.
