Title: siduction freezes on old DDR2 board
Post by: jhondavid on 2026/10/28, 01:20:50
Hi all,

I installed siduction on an old PC with a DDR2 motherboard (https://www.orangehardwares.com/collections/ddr2-motherboards), a Core 2 Duo and 4 GB RAM. After 10 to 15 minutes it freezes and I have to hard reset. Memtest86+ shows no errors.

Has anyone run siduction on DDR2 motherboards like this? Is there a kernel parameter I should try, like noapic or acpi=off?

I can post inxi -Fxz if it helps. Thanks!

Try "intel_iommu=igfx_off" as kernel parameter.
