Title: Can I get wobbly windows and dodge with XFCE?
Post by: hinto on 2012/01/19, 15:35:28
As I look at XFCE's compositing manager, I don't see a wobbly or a dodge.  Can I get the effect editing some file directly (instead of using a GUI) or should I install another compositor?
Thanks for any info.

Thanks...
I suppose KDE and Gnome either implement it themselves or wrapper compiz?

KDE has implement 3D desktop effects, Gnome3 i don't know, in the old Gnome2 even compiz was needed for 3D desktop effects.

Gnome 3 has only some small effects like shadows, transparency and the activity menu that use a effect similar to exposé.

Just to add the missing information :)
