I just remembered myself, so, as a reminder for all those who, like myself, forget easily, do as root:
update-flashplugin-nonfree -iv
Mine needed the update, does yours?
update-flashplugin-nonfree --install
One way of checking your version and whether you need to update is visiting http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
That's a great link domicius, it tells you what version you're running along with what the latest version is ... bookmarked.
Just updated:
Interesting, flash player site says I have 11,1,102,55 installed, but claims the latest version for Linux is 11.1.102.62. Hmmm, Chrome comes up with the correct version. Will have to look again after a reboot. I closed Firefox and reopened with the same results. Hmmm.
Chrome has its own flash-version.

Thanks devil, My memory needs jogging now days. Help me one more time, it's just the moving of libflashplayer.so into /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/ that does the update, right?
Edit: Nevermind, I downloaded the newer tar.gz file and it worked. I was just a bit confused when I saw the other items in the tar.gz file. Wanted to make sure nothing had changed.
Today Flash successfully updated on my AMD64 machine.
