Hallo,
ich habe ein wenig mit conky herumgespielt und auch versucht Wetterdaten darzustellen was mir allerdings nicht gelungen ist. Es wird einfach nichts angezeigt. Natürlich ist es nicht unbedingt sinnvoll das aktuelle Tageswetter auf dem Bildschirm zu sehen da schaue ich lieber aus dem Fenster aber so eine Vorhersage für die nächsten drei Tage wäre schon reizvoll. Im Internet habe ich dazu nur gefunden dass ich dazu wohl conkyforecast brauche was ich aber nicht als Debian-Paket gefunden habe. Außerdem müsste das eigentlich lt. conky-Doku auch so funktionieren.
Hat das jemand am Laufen? Wenn ja wäre ich an der config-Datei interessiert.

I use the Accuweather USA script, but for Europeans there is an International script.
I think you can find the font downloads in that link -- you need the Ubuntu fonts and the wind fonts. I also have the moon phase fonts but I'm not using that.
In my user's home folder, I have a Conky folder, and I put the script folders, and my "conkymain" script in there:

I put this script in ~.kde/Autostart:
#!/bin/bash
sleep 40 &&
conky -c /home/don/Conky/conkymain &
sleep 8
#end
The last line in the conkymain (same as a conkyrc) script puts the image background in the conky -- it is the same background I have on my 1st desktop. It is still OK to have different backgrounds on each KDE desktop, but conky will come up on the desktop that you log into.
