Title: kworker beansprucht 100% cpu

kworker nimmt fast 100% cpu für sich in Anspruch nach dem letzten du auf: Linux 2.6.36-0.slh.1-aptosid-amd64 x86_64

Die Kernel-Vorgängerversion: Linux 2.6.35-7.slh.4-aptosid-amd64 x86_64 verhält sich normal. Dort erscheint kworker nicht einmal in der Prozessliste

Hat jemand einen Tipp?

Hi Michael,
das Verhalten kann ich bestätigen, ist bei mir genauso. 100% CPU-Last über mehrere Minuten, danach beruhigt sich die Lage wieder.

Oder ist Dein Kommentar beim Schreiben schon veraltet gewesen...

habe heute den aktuellen kernel 2.6.36-0.slh.2-amd64 installiert. Kworker lastet die CPU immer noch voll aus, so dass ich zum 2.6.35-7.slh.4-amd64 zurückgekehrt bin. Der bugzilla Eintrag ergibt Sinn.

könnt ihr bitte mal hardware specs posten.
hier ist krunner vollkommen unauffällig.
bitte den output von dmesg, lspci -nn und lsusb -vv
damit kann man dann evtl. vergleiche anstellen.

da ist irgendetwas beim Erstellen der Ausgaben schief gegangen. Ich hatte sie in code-Boxen gepackt, mir danach in der Vorschau angesehen, abgeschickt und nun das hier. Nun habe ich schon wieder den alten Kernel 2.6.35-7.slh.4-aptosid-amd64 laufen.

könnt ihr bitte mal folgendes testen mit 2.6.36 und schauen ob das problem dann noch auftaucht:echo N > /sys/module/drm_kms_helper/parameters/poll
falls das problem damit behoben ist, bitte bestätigen.
btw: unterstützen eure grafikkarten hdmi?

so wie ich es schrieb oder vielleicht etwas ausführlicher: Es existieren zwar immer noch jede Menge kworker Instanzen, die fressen jetzt aber keine CPU Resourcen mehr.
