Title: LXDE digital clock issue?
Post by: preston on 2012/05/22, 23:33:03
Just installed lxde 2012.1 any enjoying it so far. One thing i can't seem to resolve is the time, I cant get it to show anything except utc. I pulled up the man page and went through the codes but couldn't ever get it to change. Any ideas?

Hi preston! :)

LXDE (the lxpanel clock plugin) itself doesn't offer changing the timezone, so you need to do a 'dpkg-reconfigure tzdata' (as root) and change the timezone to something different from UTC that fits your needs.

Thanks, that worked very well. Not sure how that happened but no worries now.
