Post by: rueX on 2012/06/17, 21:21:23
hi there,

is there a possibility to reduce cpu speed ( to get lower temperature - and/OR: to reduce energy ?

my output:

inxi -C
CPU:       Dual core AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ (-MCP-) cache: 1024 KB flags: (lm nx sse sse2 sse3 svm)
          Clock Speeds: 1: 1895.272 MHz 2: 1895.272 MHz

Sensors:   System Temperatures: cpu: 36.0C mobo: N/A
          Fan Speeds (in rpm): cpu: 3225 fan-2: 0 fan-3: 0 fan-4: 0

sensors
k8temp-pci-00c3
Adapter: PCI adapter
Core0 Temp:   +48.0°C
Core0 Temp:   +46.0°C
Core1 Temp:   +39.0°C
