Title: searching for pcscd-1.8.3-3 package
Post by: kris99 on 2012/07/06, 19:18:53
Hello,

I'm searching for the package 'pcscd_1.8.3-3_amd64.deb'. The new package version 1.8.4 doesn't work with my home-banking software.

Are there anybody who do have this package in his/her archive?

cheers

Kris

look here: http://snapshot.debian.org/package/pcsc-lite/1.8.3-3/#pcscd_1.8.3-3

Perhaps file a bug to report the issue with the 1.8.4 pcscd package?

Thank you for the link.

We are working on to figure out what the problem is: the driver, libpcsc, pcscd or moneyplex itself. If we found we will report the bug.

My guess would be moneyplex. You should inform the developer at    kontakt@matrica.de

Perhaps moneyplex needs to be rebuilt against the new pcscd version?

This was the first action I took. It was his hint to downgrade the pcscd version. Additional I'm running the 64-bit version of moneyplex but the problem persists. If I run pcscd in debug mode the problem disappears. I can live with this workaround for now.

The moneyplex developer is still working on this problem.

Giving the developer all the debug logs can help spot the problem and perhaps a workaround or a fix can be found. Maybe the pcscsd devs can assist?

Here moneyplex (Version 11.0 Pro) works with the actual package.
