I just checked with an SDHC card in these two siduction systems:

Both mounted automatically as expected.
It must be an issue specific to your hardware -- if you post the output of "inxi -v3" maybe towo can see something special about it.
Here the data of the system without SDHC detection. The only difference is the kernel. Detection is running with kernel 3.5-x.

hi
please test following, insert the card in to the slot,
then do as root
modprobe -r sdhci_pci && modprobe sdhci_pci
a good idea would be to post the output of (or take a look to)
dmesg | tail
after inserting the card.
A good idea is also to search in the Forum for that issue ;)
greetings hendrik
That will not help.
After I have found something about it in internet it seems like there is a problem with the kernel 3.6 which may be solved with 3.7 (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=748159).
Here some output on my terminal.

greetz hendrik
I'd tested it, and many other things.
Any other ideas? :cry:
Did you insert the card before booting?
If not, test it.
As i explained above i have the same issue, no automount after inserting the sdhci card, when i do the modprobe thing it is mounted.
So i remove the card without modprobe -r, (i click on the symbol on the desktop, safe remove or how it called), insert the card again and automounting works fine, very strange.
Yes the same procedure as @hendrikL I had to take with my dvbt-stick for some kernels, but then suddenly the problem vanished...
@krellan
please provide us the output of /etc/modules
what i figured out for my system, in the /etc/modules sdhci was commented out, i also added sdhci_pci, now automount works fine here.

It seems empty.
Then add the cardreader section and reboot, maybe it helps.
